AI has long been used within our group of companies in development and in various work processes. At Innovation Day, the teams from sequire, N4, 4PACE and INOMIC came together to deepen existing experience, further develop new use cases and identify concrete potential.
For us at sequire, one question was at the heart of the day: How can AI be integrated into processes and products in a way that considers security, traceability and responsibility from the very beginning — without slowing down innovation?
In parallel workshops, colleagues from development, product management, sales and other areas tried out, discarded and further developed concrete use cases. With our perspective on AI security, we accompanied this process and contributed the questions that are crucial for the secure and sustainable use of AI.
In her talk on AI security, Julia Masloh also made it clear: what matters is not only what is technically possible with AI, but under which conditions its use is responsible and secure.
This guidance is more important than it may seem at first. The value of AI does not come from a single tool, but from the quality of the data, processes and structures behind it — and from the responsible handling of its results. AI security is therefore not a downstream check, but should be part of the concept and implementation from the very beginning.
One idea ran through the day: AI does not make decisions for us; it prepares them better. It researches, structures, suggests variants and accelerates routines, while professional assessment and responsibility remain with people. From our perspective, this is precisely the basis for the secure use of AIThose who understand what a model can and cannot do use its strengths without giving up control.
We will now continue to support the most promising approaches from the workshops in pilots and examine step by step how they can be transferred reliably and securely into products, services and internal processes. We are convinced that AI only truly pays off when it is embedded responsibly and sustainably — and this is exactly where we support our group and our customers.
A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who shaped this day with their ideas, questions and energy. We look forward to taking the next steps together.
